Welcome to Exmouth Ceramic Group
Exmouth Ceramic Group is a voluntary organisation of friendly amateur potters, keen to promote ceramics in the local community.
We run our own workshops in central Exmouth where members of the group and students develop their skills and explore the fascinating process of creating objects with clay.
We organise courses, work with local groups and contribute to the annual Exmouth Festival.
We host events for children and adults to introduce people to the spellbinding process of creating with clay.

Exmouth Ceramic Group offers fun and inspirational pottery courses for all ages and abilities.
Whether you are an experienced potter or an absolute beginner, you will find a welcome at our classes held in our fully equipped workshop in the town centre.
Our qualified and experienced tutors are keen potters themselves, so why not join one of our friendly classes?
October 2023: Unfortunately we have already reached our maximum capacity. We have 65 members, 24 students and a waiting-list of over one year. We are unable to take new names on a waiting-list, but will update the website when this changes.
We do, however, run one-off day workshops and exhibitions, which are open to all ages. These will be advertised here:
